Tango
Look forward to the Milonga Special with Patricia & Matteo.
► Milonga Lisa – Stability and Flow
You’ll develop a solid foundation with a steady rhythm and fluid movement. This is what makes Milonga feel relaxed and easy to dance.
► Milonga Traspié – Rhythm and vitality
Add expression and fun through musical accents and little rhythmic surprises.
► Danceable combinations
The focus is on combinations that are easy to dance, as well as consciously switching between Lisa and Traspié to dance Milonga in time with the music.
There are two course groups with a maximum of 10 couples per group.
Group allocation is carried out by Patricia & Matteo.
Tango lessons
- 5 x 1.5-hour group lessons in ‘Milonga’
- 2 supervised practical sessions to consolidate what you have learnt
- Evening milongas (featuring tango and waltz)
- Show performance by Patricia & Matteo
- 100 square metres of dance floor / parquet flooring
Dancing experience
This trip is aimed at experienced dancers who wish to devote themselves intensively to the ‘Lisa & Traspié’ milonga.
You have been dancing regularly for many years and are confident in both the parallel and crossed systems. Turns with a stable axis, pivots and ochos are second nature to you, and moving fluidly and mindfully within the ronda is part of your routine.
Patricia Hilliges & Matteo Panero live in Florence and have been teaching on our trips for many years.
They dance an elegant tango de salon, which they enrich with innovative elements – imaginative and musically appropriate.
Patricia & Matteo teach even challenging content with great wit and didactic experience.
