To kick off the new year, Fausto & Stephanie invite you to a four-day mini-break: the Milonga Challenge at Lake Chiemsee.
Immerse yourself in the world of milonga with intensive lessons and practicas.

Tango
► Milonga
: You’ll work on rhythm and combinations that make the milonga light and lively. Lisa and Traspié will take turns leading.
► Technique that sets
the dance free: Fausto and Stephanie will teach techniques for stable axes, clean pivots and an effortless interplay between leading and following.
► Dancing with pleasure and inspiration
: The workshops are set within a relaxed tango holiday that offers space for individual dancing, exchange and inspiration.
There are two course groups with a maximum of 12 couples per group.
In addition, there is a warm-up practica every day before the lessons for you to practise on your own.
Tango lessons
- 3 x 1.5-hour group lessons & 3 x 1.5-hour guided practicas
- Evening milongas (featuring waltz and tango)
- Performance by Fausto & Stephanie
- 150 square metres of dance floor
This trip can be combined with the ‘New Year’s Eve at Lake Chiemsee’ programme from 27 December 2026 to 2 January 2027. The total price is then reduced by €50 per person.
Dancing experience
This trip is aimed at dancers who wish to explore the milonga in depth.
You dance regularly, know the basics and can link figures together. At milongas, you move within the ronda and find your rhythm even when the dance floor is full. Enjoying tango and taking pleasure in it is important to you; you’re open to solid foundational work and clear leading and following.
Fausto Carpino and Stephanie Fesneau are a young and likeable dance couple. They live in Syracuse, Sicily.
Their dancing is inspiring and rhythmically precise, their movements fluid and beautiful. In their classes, they teach with great personal commitment, joy and charm.

Aiterbach on Lake Chiemsee is a place to unwind, take a deep breath and enjoy yourself.
Hotel Aiterbach
Situated right by the lake in a large park, Aiterbach is the perfect retreat, even in winter! Walking trails start right by the hotel, offering views of snow-capped mountains – absolutely stunning!
The main building houses guest rooms, as well as cosy lounges, the restaurant and a terrace offering sweeping views across Lake Chiemsee to the Alps. The annexe houses the superior rooms, as well as a spacious, light-filled dance hall with parquet flooring and lake views – a wonderful space for sharing tango moments together.
Tango:
The classes and milongas take place in the beautiful hall in the annex – 110 square metres of excellent parquet flooring and a view of the lake. Every evening, an atmospheric milonga awaits you on the finest parquet flooring. Standard
rooms
: These are located in the two-storey main building. They are slightly smaller than the rooms in the new building and offer either a direct view of the lake or of the street. There is no lift in the main building.
Superior
Rooms: These are situated in the modern two-storey annexe of the property.
You can choose between rooms with a direct view of the lake or a side view towards the garden or the boathouse.
There is a lift in the new building.
Culinary delights
At the Hotel Aiterbach, a cosy Bavarian restaurant awaits you.
- A varied breakfast buffet for a delightful start to the day
- For dinner, you’ll be spoilt for choice at the buffet: as well as classic dishes, there’s always a vegetarian option,
a soup, and a fresh and varied salad buffet - On three days a week, sweet and savoury snacks are available for lunch.

The hotel will charge the local tax, amounting to approximately €2 per person per day, along with your room bill (e.g. drinks). Additional
nights, including breakfast, are available on request.
You should arrive at Lake Chiemsee by Sunday afternoon. You can
check into your room from 3.00 pm.

Chiemsee is well worth a visit even in winter:
- There are walking trails that start right by the hotel
- and it’s not far to Salzburg and Rosenheim
- Unwind at the thermal baths in Bad Endorf
- Or simply relax at the hotel
