Spend a week of tango full of emotion in this wonderful setting. Relaxation guaranteed! And, of course, a milonga every evening!

Tango

Humour, a light-hearted approach to teaching and a warm, welcoming atmosphere create an environment in which everyone – from beginners to experienced dancers – can learn with confidence, feel at ease and enjoy their tango.
There are two class groups, with a maximum of 11 couples per group.
Our dance hall measures 110 square metres and, thanks to a ceiling cooling system, the room can be kept at a comfortable temperature.
Tango lessons

Dancing experience
This course is aimed at dancers who want to make their dancing lighter and more fluid.
You dance regularly, know the basics and can link figures together. At milongas, you move within the ronda and find your rhythm even when the dance floor is full. Enjoying tango and taking pleasure in it is important to you; you’re open to solid foundational work and clear leading and following.

Our location
Our tango hotel in Aiterbach on Lake Chiemsee is THE PERFECT PLACE: for dancing the tango and for relaxing.
In summer, it’s lovely to go for a swim here! And, of course, we dance the tango every evening!
Hotel Aiterbach
. Situated right by the lake in a large park with plenty of greenery, it is the perfect oasis for relaxing and dancing the tango. You can go for a swim very easily via a jetty. Wonderful!
You can enjoy a variety of cycle rides and walks along the lake, visit the enchanting islands of Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee, or simply relax on the terrace with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. Pedalos, stand-up paddleboards and bicycles are available for hire.
The main building houses guest rooms, as well as cosy lounges, the restaurant and a terrace with sweeping views across Lake Chiemsee to the Alps. The annexe houses the Superior rooms, as well as the spacious, light-filled ballroom – the perfect venue for shared tango moments – complete with a view of the lake!
Breakfast and dinner are served as a buffet with a great selection of salads and vegetarian options.
Ballroom
The classes and milongas take place in the beautiful hall in the annex – 110 square metres of excellent parquet flooring and a view of the lake. Tango lessons take place in the mornings, leaving plenty of time for excursions and relaxation. Every evening, an atmospheric milonga awaits you on the finest parquet flooring.
Rooms
► Standard rooms
: These are located in the two-storey main building. They are slightly smaller than the rooms in the new wing and offer either a direct view of the lake or of the street. There is no lift in the main building.
► Superior Rooms
These are situated in the modern two-storey annexe of the estate.
You can choose between rooms with a direct view of the lake or a side view towards the garden or the boathouse.
There is a lift in the new building.
Culinary delights
At the Hotel Aiterbach, you’ll find a cosy Bavarian restaurant and a large terrace with views of the lake and the mountains.
- A varied breakfast buffet for a delightful start to the day
- For dinner, alongside classic dishes, we offer a vegetarian selection, a soup and a fresh and varied salad buffet.
- One evening, we’ll treat you to a barbecue on the beautiful terrace.

Not included:
travel costs, personal expenses and local tourist tax.
The hotel will charge the local tourist tax, amounting to approximately €2 per person per day, together with the room bill (e.g. drinks).
Extensions to your stay, including breakfast, can be requested. An extra night costs €80 per person, including breakfast.
You should arrive in Aiterbach by the afternoon. You can
check into your room from 3.00 pm.

- visit the islands of Herrenchiemsee and Fraueninsel by boat
- there are numerous walking and cycling trails around Lake Chiemsee
- Pedalos, stand-up paddleboards and bicycles can be hired at the hotel
- Or simply relax in the large park and go for a swim in the lake
