Tango
Look forward to this tango holiday with Diego & Belén, featuring a new teaching format: the focus is on individual technique for ‘him and her’: there will be alternating 30-minute sessions on men’s and women’s technique. Afterwards, what you’ve learnt will be applied to dancing together in group lessons. This way, you can work on your individual skills and improve your style.
► Clear leading
: Diego focuses on precise, confident leading – for clear, easily understood interaction between partners.
► Active following & presence
: Belén shows how active following strengthens your own presence and allows you to respond creatively to the lead, deepening communication through dance.
► Ornaments & Elegance
Building on leading and following, opportunities arise for stylish ornaments, musical nuances and elegant movement – for an inspired, lively dance experience.
In the evenings, atmospheric milongas await you on the finest parquet flooring.
Our dance hall measures 200 square metres, and a ceiling cooling system ensures the room is kept at a comfortable temperature.
Tango lessons take place in the mornings or afternoons, leaving plenty of time for excursions and relaxation.
There are two course groups, with a maximum of 11 couples per group.
A balanced ratio of leaders and followers ensures a pleasant atmosphere both during lessons and at the milongas.

- 5 x 1.5-hour group lessons
- 2 x 30-minute separate technique sessions for men and women

Dancing experience
This course is aimed at experienced dancers.
You have been dancing regularly for many years and move confidently in both the parallel and crossed systems. You can naturally execute turns with a stable axis, pivots and ochos, and moving fluidly and mindfully in the ronda is part of your practice.
Diego and Belén dance in an elegant style characterised by the Tango de Salón. Renowned for their charisma, creativity and profound musicality, their dancing combines elegance and strong classical roots with constant evolution and original movement sequences.

Hotel rooms
► The rooms at the Schwanen are elegantly panelled with silver fir and furnished with simple yet cosy, modern furniture crafted by local Bregenz artisans. They vary in size and location:
► The Schwanen I rooms are approximately 30 square metres in size, whilst the Schwanen II rooms are approximately 22–24 square metres. Both room types offer views towards Kanisfluh and Hirschberg, or are designed as spacious corner rooms (Schwanen I).
The Schwanen III rooms face the road, which has little traffic at night as Bizau lies in a side valley.
Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the booking.
There is also the option of staying in a holiday flat or at the Gasthof Taube in Bizau:
► Holiday flat
In addition to accommodation at the Hotel Schwanen, this trip offers the option of booking well-appointed holiday flats. These are located approximately a 5-minute walk from the Hotel Schwanen. The flats have one bedroom as well as a kitchen with a cosy living area. Meals – breakfast and dinner – are taken together with the group at the Hotel Schwanen.
► Gasthof Taube
The Gasthof Taube is a cosy, family-run hotel, about a 2-minute walk from the Schwanen. The rooms are furnished in a slightly simpler style. Breakfast and dinner are also taken together with the group at the Hotel Schwanen.
Culinary delights
At the Biohotel Schwanen, you’ll be treated to excellent regional and seasonal cuisine.
The kitchen team has been receiving awards for many years, including 14 Gault Millau points and 3 toques. Many dishes are prepared according to the principles of Hildegard von Bingen, naturally using carefully selected organic produce.
- The breakfast buffet is small but exquisite: featuring a wide selection of fine teas and coffee, regional cheese and bacon, organic egg dishes, homemade jams and muesli, as well as local dairy products.
- Every evening, a creative, regional menu awaits us. A vegetarian option is, of course, available.
