Tango
► Musicality in tango
You will deepen your understanding of the musical characters of selected orchestras such as Di Sarli, Fresedo and D'Arienzo and learn to consciously translate their different qualities into dance.
► Dancing tango – stylistically differentiated
Expression, dynamics and phrasing are the focus in order to create musical nuances clearly and harmoniously in the couple.
► Milonga Lisa & Milonga Traspié
Focus on rhythm, grounding and lightness – for clear, flowing milonga dancing and a playful approach to doubling without losing the flow and connection.
There are two course groups with a maximum of 11 couples per group.

Dancing experience
"Milonga meets Tango": the focus of the class will be on milonga. Playful and full of ease!
You dance regularly, know the basics and can combine figures with each other. At Milongas, you move around the Ronda and find your rhythm even when the dance floor is full. Joy and enthusiasm for tango are important to you, and you are open to good basic work and clear leading and following.
Patricia Hilliges & Matteo Panero live in Florence and have been teaching on our trips for many years.
They dance an elegant tango de salon, which they enrich with innovative elements – imaginative and musically appropriate.
Patricia & Matteo teach even challenging content with great wit and didactic experience.

Hotel Relais Borgo di Tabiano
This idyllic country hotel was created from lovingly restored historic buildings below the Castello di Tabiano. Terracotta, wood and natural stone create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Relaxation is provided by the large garden, the pool and a small wellness area with sauna, hammam and massage. The restaurant will spoil you with fresh regional cuisine and products from its own garden.
Emilia Romagna delights with charming cities such as Parma, Cremona and Reggio Emilia – authentic, enjoyable and far away from the large tourist crowds. The Relais di Tabiano is located about a 40-minute drive from Parma in a beautiful panoramic location.
Dance hall
The courses and milongas take place in the former stables – an atmospheric hall with a 150 m² dance floor (easy to dance on stone floor). in the evening, atmospheric milongas await you here.
Rooms
The rooms are located in historic buildings and are all individually designed – rustic, cosy and with lovely details.
► You can choose between standard (approx. 20 m²), superior (25 m²) and particularly spacious deluxe rooms (approx. 35 m²), some with antique bathtubs, fireplaces or separate living areas.
NEW:
► Modern superior rooms and comfortable suites with lift access are located in the nearby annex – some with terrace or jacuzzi.
Culinary delights
At the Hotel Relais di Tabiano, you will be treated by an authentic cuisine from Emilia Romagna.
- In the morning, a lovingly prepared breakfast buffet awaits you with lots of fruit and vegetables, good cappuccino, homemade cakes, Prosciutto di Parma, muesli and egg dishes.
- On four evenings, the hotel will serve a fine three-course regional menu and an antipasti salad buffet.
- We will spend one evening in a typical Osteria with homemade Pasta specialities.
- One evening, we will enjoy a wine tasting including a barbecue.
- Culinary discoveries:
We plan to visit a Parmesan cheese dairy with you, including a tasting.
If you feel like it, we can organise a pasta cooking class for you in a Trattoria.

Together with the room bill (e.g. drinks), the hotel will charge a local tax of approximately €2.50 per person/day.

Arrival in Tabiano should be on Sunday afternoon.

Tip:
We recommend extending your stay with a visit to the nearby cities of Mantua, Bologna or Milan. Of course, you can also extend your stay in Tabiano to relax in peaceful surroundings.
