Tango Summer Holiday on Lake Chiemsee: Tango dancing with a view of the mountains & swimming in the lake.

We cordially invite you to an unforgettable tango summer holiday on the beautiful Chiemsee, where we will dance tango together with Fausto Carpino & Stephanie Fesneau. With great friendliness and a passion for teaching, Fausto & Stephanie succeed in conveying the right feeling and, above all, the joy of tango to each participant. On some evenings, there is a guided practica with Fausto & Stephanie to deepen what has been learned. Look forward to inspiring tango lessons during the day and atmospheric evening milongas with views of the lake and the mountains.
Our idyllic property boasts a spacious park and direct access to Lake Chiemsee. Here you can relax – whether swimming in the lake, sunbathing on the jetty, or lounging on the lawn under shady trees. In addition to tango dancing, there are numerous activities available. You can enjoy varied bike rides and leisurely walks along the lake, or take a boat trip to the enchanting islands of Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee. Discover the Chiemgau region, which, with charming towns like Rosenheim and the surrounding mountains and lakes, is especially worth a visit in summer.

Aiterbach is the ideal place to take a well-deserved “break” from the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life. It originally served as the summer residence of a respected Munich family of architects and artists. The property was later carefully renovated and expanded, creating a fascinating mix of tradition and modernity. Our guests are amazed by the unique atmosphere every time they visit.
The heart of the Aiterbach property is the main building in the Munich Art Nouveau style. The cozy rooms invite you to linger. In the main building, breakfast and dinner are offered in buffet form. In addition to a vegetarian selection, this also includes a salad buffet. Drinks are available to us at a self-service counter, both late in the evening and early in the morning. In the afternoon there is a small selection of cakes, as well as coffee, tea and ice cream. From the sun terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the majestic Alpine backdrop. The extensive park with direct access to the lake invites you to relax. A bathing jetty allows easy access via stairs to Lake Chiemsee, where you can swim wonderfully. The new building contains the modern and tastefully furnished superior guest rooms, as well as the light-flooded hall with parquet floors and a terrace with a view of the lake. Our tango events take place here.

Room:
Superior Room: You can choose from rooms in the new building with a direct view of the lake or with a side view of the garden or the boathouse. These are modernly furnished rooms with a double bed and a beautiful bathroom with shower/toilet. There are rooms on the 1st floor or 2nd floor with an elevator.
Standard rooms: These are located in the main building. They are rustically furnished and offer either a view of the park and the lake or of the street. There is no elevator in the main building. Additionally, studios can be requested. These are maisonette-style rooms with a sleeping area and a separate small living area

Arrival to Aiterbach am Chiemsee:
Coming by car from Munich or Salzburg:
Drive on the A8 motorway towards Salzburg/Munich. Leave the motorway at exit 106 – Bernau am Chiemsee, Prien am Chiemsee. In Prien you drive towards Rimsting. At the roundabout in Rimsting take the first exit. You pass the town of Rimsting Bahnhof and follow the signs towards Gstadt/Seebruck and reach Aiterbach.
by train:
The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee (Munich-Rosenheim-Salzburg train route). Bus 9520 runs regularly from Prien towards Seebruck. Get off at the 5th stop – Aiterbach. The bus stops directly in front of the entrance area. You can also take a taxi from the train station to Aiterbach (approx. €15).

Arrival and departure:
Arrival should be on Sunday by 5:00 p.m. The courses start the next day. There are no more courses on Saturday and you can return home after breakfast. The rooms should be vacated by around 10:30 a.m.
