We cordially invite you to an unforgettable tango summer holiday on the beautiful Chiemsee, where we will dance tango together with Gustavo Colmenarejo and Eva Tsigkanou. With a great deal of compassion and empathy, Gustavo & Eva succeed in conveying the right feeling and, above all, the joy of tango to each participant. "Feel the connection": this week is all about connecting with your partner and the music. On some evenings, there will be a guided practice session with Gustavo & Eva to reinforce what you've learned. Look forward to inspiring tango lessons during the day and atmospheric evening milongas with views of the lake and the mountains.

Our idyllic property boasts a spacious park and direct access to Lake Chiemsee. Here you can relax – whether swimming in the lake, sunbathing on the jetty, or lounging on the lawn under shady trees. In addition to tango dancing, there are numerous activities available. You can enjoy varied bike rides and leisurely strolls along the lake, or set off by boat to the enchanting islands of Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee. Discover the Chiemgau region, which, with charming towns like Rosenheim and the surrounding mountains and lakes, is especially worth a visit in summer.

Our tango hotel in Aiterbach am Chiemsee is the perfect place for a carefree tango holiday in summer. Once the summer residence of a well-known Munich artist family, the house was carefully renovated and converted into a charming hotel with an exciting mix of tradition and modernity. Our participants are always delighted by the unique ambiance. In 2024, all rooms in the main building and the annex were renovated and furnished in a modern and contemporary style.

The focal point of the Aiterbach ensemble is the main building, built in the Munich Art Nouveau style. Here, you will find the restaurant, cozy lounges, and several rooms. From the terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the lake and the beautiful Alpine panorama. The Superior Rooms are located in the adjacent annex, as well as the 110 sqm light-filled ballroom with parquet flooring.
The spacious park with direct access to the lake invites you to relax. A bathing jetty provides convenient access via stairs to Lake Chiemsee, where you can swim wonderfully. Pedal boats and rowboats are available for rent. Bicycles are also available for rent.

Breakfast and dinner are served as a buffet in the main building (with vegetarian options and a salad buffet). Weather permitting, we can enjoy breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view and dinner together there.

Rooms in the new building:
The Superior Rooms are located in the modern, two-story annex of the property.
You can choose from rooms with a direct lake view or with a side view of the garden or boathouse.
The new building has an elevator.
Rooms in the main building:
The rooms are located in the two-story main building. They are slightly smaller than the rooms in the new building and offer either a direct lake view or a street view. There is no elevator in the main building.
Studios are also available on request. These are maisonette-style rooms with a bedroom upstairs and a small separate living area. The studios are located in the main building facing the street.

Getting to Aiterbach am Chiemsee:
The property can be reached by car from the A8 motorway towards Salzburg/Munich, taking the Bernau/Prien am Chiemsee exit. Coming from Rimsting towards Gstadt/Seebruck, Aiterbach is a 10-minute drive from Prien.
The nearest train station is Prien. From there, there is a regular bus service via line 9520. The bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. Taxis are available at Prien train station if needed.

Arrival and Departure:
Arrival should be by 6:00 PM. Courses start the next day. Check-in is from 3:00 PM. There will be no more courses on the day of departure.
