Discover the characteristic energy and lightness of Milonga: rhythmic, grounded and with a natural flow.
► Rhythm, weight & joy of playing
Whether with or without traspié: the focus is on conscious weight transfer, clear timing and a playful approach to the music.
► Dancing instead of moving
You will develop a physically grounded milonga dance style that feels light, musical and lively – guided by feeling, connection and presence.
There are two course groups with a maximum of 11 couples per group.
The groups will be divided by Amanda & Adrian.
Tango lessons
- 4 x 1.5 hours of group lessons
- 2 accompanied Practicas to consolidate what you have learnt
- Milongas every evening
- Show performance by Amanda & Adrian
- 110 sqm dance floor / parquet flooring
Dancing experience
The Milonga Challenge is aimed for experienced dancers. You have been dancing regularly for many years and are confident in both parallel and crossed systems. Turns with a stable axis, pivots and ochos are second nature to you, and fluid, mindful movement in the ronda is part of your practice.
With Amanda & Adrian, you will experience tango enjoyment at the highest level: tango is not a figure, tango is a feeling. Simplicity and elegance are at the forefront instead of a multitude of figures.
Their knowledge of orchestras and famous milongueros from Buenos Aires is virtually inexhaustible.
Our location
Our tango hotel in Aiterbach at Lake Chiemsee is a place to relax, take a deep breath and enjoy yourself.
Here you can enjoy wonderful views – and, of course, dance Tango every evening.
Hotel Aiterbach
Located in a large park with lots of greenery, right on the lake, it is the perfect oasis for relaxing and dancing Tango. Walking paths with wonderful views of the lake and mountains start at the hotel. You can visit the enchanting islands of Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee, or simply relax on the terrace with its fantastic view of the lake and mountains. And, of course, dance Tango every evening!
The main building houses guest rooms, cosy lounges, the restaurant and a terrace with sweeping views across Lake Chiemsee to the Alps. The annexe houses the Superior rooms and the spacious, light-flooded dance hall with parquet flooring – a wonderful space for shared Tango moments. Breakfast and dinner are served as a buffet with a great selection of salads and vegetarian options. On Easter Sunday, we will be treated to a delicious Easter Brunch.
Dance hall
The Tango classes and Milongas take place in the beautiful room in the annex – 110 square metres of excellent parquet flooring with a view of the lake. An atmospheric Milonga awaits you every evening.
Rooms
► Standard rooms:
These are located in the two-storey main building. They are slightly smaller than the rooms in the new building and offer either a direct view of the lake or the street. There is no elevator in the main building.
► Superior rooms:
These are located in the modern two-storey annex of the property.
You can choose between rooms with a direct view of the lake or a side view of the garden or boathouse. There is an elevator in the new building.
Culinary delights
The Hotel Aiterbach offers a Bavarian restaurant and a large terrace with views of the lake and mountains.
- A varied breakfast buffet for a delicious start to the day
- For dinner, you are spoilt for choice at the buffet: in addition to classic dishes, there is always a vegetarian selection,
a soup and a fresh and varied salad buffet - On three days, soup is available as a snack at lunchtime.

Travel, personal expenses and local tax.
Together with the room bill (e.g. drinks), the hotel will charge a local tax of approximately €2 per person/day.
Additional days including breakfast can be requested.
Rooms are available from 3 p.m.
- Deposit: 15% of the tour price upon booking
- Balance: 5 weeks before departure
- Cancellation fees according to the terms and conditions
- Minimum number of participants: 25 persons
