Look forward to this tango holiday with Patricia Hilliges & Matteo Panero.
Tango lessons take place in the morning or afternoon, leaving plenty of time for excursions and relaxation.
In the evenings, atmospheric Milongas await you on the finest parquet flooring.
We look forward to experiencing the magic of tango with you in this special place!
There will be two groups with a maximum of 12 couples per group.

Dancing experience
This holiday is aimed for experienced dancers.
You have been dancing regularly for many years and are confident in both parallel and crossed systems. Turns with a stable axis, pivots and ochos are second nature to you, and fluid, mindful movement in the ronda is part of your practice.
Patricia Hilliges & Matteo Panero live in Florence and have been teaching on our trips for many years.
They dance an elegant tango de salon, which they enrich with innovative elements – imaginative and musically appropriate.
Patricia & Matteo teach even challenging content with great wit and didactic experience.
Our location
The Bregenzerwald is a real insider tip in summer if you want to enjoy unspoilt nature in the mountains of Austria.

Biohotel Schwanen

Warm wood tones in the bright, modern rooms and a sunny garden terrace create an atmosphere that encourages you to let go and recharge your batteries.
In the Bregenzer Wald, picturesque alpine pastures with magnificent views, shady forest paths and refreshing bathing spots in the clear river awaits you. With the Bregenzer Wald Guest Card, you can use all public transport, outdoor swimming pools and mountain railways free of charge.
Dance hall
The classes and Milongas take place in the neighbouring hall with an area of 200 square metres and a magnificent view (wooden floor).
Every evening, an atmospheric milonga awaits you on the best parquet floor.
Hotel rooms
The rooms at the Schwanen are elegantly lined with silver fir and furnished with simple but comfortable modern furniture made by Bregenz craftsmen. They vary in size and location:
► The Schwanen I rooms are approx. 30 square metres in size, Schwanen II approx. 22-24 square metres. Both room types face the Kanisfluh and Hirschberg mountains or are spacious corner rooms (Schwanen I).
► The Schwanen III rooms face the street, which has little traffic at night as Bizau is located in a side valley.
Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis after booking.
There is also the option of staying in a holiday apartment or at the Gasthof Taube in Bizau:
► Holiday apartment
In addition to accommodation at the Hotel Schwanen, this trip offers the option of booking high-quality holiday apartments. These are located approx. 5 minutes' walk from the Hotel Schwanen. The apartments have one bedroom and a kitchen with a cosy living area. Meals = breakfast & dinner are taken together with the group at the Hotel Schwanen.
► Gasthof Taube
The Gasthof Taube is a cosy, family-run hotel, approx. 2 minutes' walk from the Schwanen. The rooms are somewhat more simply furnished. Breakfast and dinner are also taken together with the group at the Hotel Schwanen.
Culinary delights
At the Biohotel Schwanen, we are treated to excellent regional and seasonal cuisine.
The kitchen team has received numerous awards over the years, including 14 Gault Millau points. Many dishes are prepared according to the criteria of Hildegard von Bingen, naturally using carefully selected organic ingredients.
- Small but exquisite, the breakfast buffet offers a large selection of fine teas and coffees, regional cheeses and bacon, organic egg dishes, homemade jams and muesli, and local dairy products.
- Every evening, a creative, regional menu awaits us. A vegetarian option is of course available.

Bregenz Festival:
The Bregenz Festival is worth a visit for the spectacular stage design and atmosphere on the lake stage alone.
In 2026, Giuseppe Verdi's opera "La Traviata" will be performed.
If you register early, tickets can be ordered at a price of €135,- per person. Please indicate when registering whether you would like tickets, as the number of tickets is limited.
Arrival in Bizau should take place by the afternoon.
Rooms are available from 3 p.m.
Tip:
We recommend extending your stay if you enjoy hiking. There is a wide range of holiday apartments in the surrounding area, e.g. Mellau & Schoppernau, as well as Bezau. With the Bregenzer Wald Card, you can use all mountain railways and buses free of charge.
