Oct 6th - 12th, 2024: Tango Holiday in the Oetz valley/Austria

Welcome to our "Tango - feel-good - oasis"!
We are very happy that we have discovered this "paradise" in Austria for us and our tango trips.
Let's enjoy the colorful autumn in the mountains in the Ötz valley - with a view of the snow-capped peaks of the Ötztal Alps.
Our hotel is quiet and uniquely beautiful on a high plateau with a wonderful panoramic view of the Ötztal near Sautens. Here, in the sympathetically managed "Ritzlerhof", you can relax and dance the tango wonderfully: Our dance room with 130 square meters offers the best parquet floor, a beautiful view and of course the finest tango lessons.
We are very happy that Patricia & Matteo from Florence will be teaching. Patricia & Matteo dance an elegant Tango de Salon, which they enrich with innovative elements - imaginative and musically appropriate. In her German-speaking lessons you learn many tricks for a better technique and thereby gain in expression and stability. Harmony is paramount on this journey. Harmony with the music & harmony in a couple: an exciting combination that Patricia & Matteo skilfully teach tango with a lot of humor and joy.

Here in the Ötztal we are surrounded by meadows and forests. Here we can fully enjoy our vacation "away from the hustle and bustle". Tango & deceleration from everyday life, a successful holiday combination in this region of Austria!
The Ötztal Nature Park extends from the valley up into high alpine areas formed by glaciers with majestic mountain ranges, waterfalls and lots of greenery. Here you can be active both on short walks along the Ötz and on hikes. Several hiking trails start directly behind the hotel, such as to the idyllically situated Piburger See.

In the Ritzlerhof we can relax and recharge our batteries at the same time. The hotel is in a quiet, secluded location, far away from the hustle and bustle, noise and stress. A comfortably furnished house with a lot of alpine flair and honest hospitality awaits us.
Whether from the large terrace, from the indoor pool or even from the solar-heated outdoor pool: the all-round view of the Ötztal Alps is unbeatable. Actually, you never want to leave here again... at least that's how it was for us on the last tango trips.
We are spoiled with culinary delights by the kitchen team. We start the day with an extensive breakfast buffet until 10:30 a.m. In the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., we can also look forward to a snack with salty and sweet, cold and warm smaller dishes. We can take this on the outside terrace or in the cozy light-flooded lounge. For dinner, there is a fine salad buffet in the "Gameza" restaurant, as well as a multi-course menu with an Austrian-Mediterranean touch.
We can relax in the small but fine wellness area with four different saunas, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool and a cozy relaxation room - of course with a panoramic view.
The warm welcome from our friendly hosts Josef Ertl & Michael Haslacher ensures a feel-good character. The two run their house with a lot of enthusiasm, cordiality and passion.
Different room categories can be booked:
The standard rooms type "Jöchle" are rustically furnished. They are rather small at around 19 square meters, but are still comfortable and have a small balcony. The classic rooms "Bärenkopf" are more spacious with approx. 23 sqm, they have a larger balcony and are tastefully furnished in alpine style. The superior rooms "Kreuzjoch" offer a lot of comfort and space with 33 sqm. They are furnished with high-quality furniture and have a modern bathroom and a balcony.
All rooms have a minibar, safe and a kettle.
The luxurious junior suites type "Wetterkreuzkogel" are approx. 37 square meters. In the comfortably furnished living/sleeping area there is a walk-in closet and a sitting area with a minibar and an Illy coffee machine. The bathroom has a rain shower and a free-standing panoramic bathtub.

Getting there:
The arrival should take place on October 6, 2024 = Sunday by 5.30 p.m. The courses start the next day.
On October 12, 2024 = Saturday, the return journey can take place after breakfast. The rooms should be vacated by around 11:30 am.

Our hotel is located above Sautens in the lower Ötztal in Austria. Accessible via Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Seefeld, Lermoos to Imst/Fernpass and further toll-free via the B 171 to Haiming/Ötztal. Alternatively via Munich-Salzburg-Kufstein-Innsbruck to Haiming/Ötzal.
When arriving by train, a free shuttle transfer can be arranged from Ötztal Train Station.
