Diego Riemer, also known as "El Pájaro", is based in Lyon, France. He is a versatile artist and a world renowned tango dancer. He was born in Buenos Aires. In his hometown he was formed by the old milongueros and dancers starting his tango career in the middle of 1990’s. As a former drummer, he excels in his musicality and its expression.
Diego performed and worked at all the main international festivals during the last 20 years. He inspires his students with a clear structured, well-structured lessons in a high energy mood. He focus mainly in a very active role of the woman, a clear leading, a very detailed technique, an active expression and improvisation through the music.
His partners were Mecha Espinel, Maria Belen Giachello, Marina Dragone, Natalia Cristobal Rivé, among others.
In their lessons, Judita and Diego emphasize the teaching of a well-founded technique and create a frame in which couples find the improvisation and the swing of the music: a task that man and woman equally demands.
Judita speaks in class German. Diego teaches in English but also speaks German.
