Diego Riemer & Judita Zapatero

We have been working with Judita & Diego for many years.

Judita Zapatero lives in Stuttgart, where she runs her own tango school and tango salon.
Her great love of tango and her many years of experience with the elements of bodywork, dance and the history of tango make her a skilled and sought-after teacher. Judita is a particular asset for women, as she consistently emphasises femininity, elegance and embellishment opportunities for women in her lessons.

Diego Riemer, also known as "El Pájaro", lives in Lyon.
He is a versatile artist and a world-famous tango dancer. Diego was born in Buenos Aires. In his hometown, he was trained by the old milongueros and dancers and began his tango career in the mid-1990s. As a former drummer, he stands out for his musicality. Diego has danced and taught at all major international festivals over the past 20 years.
He inspires his students with clear and well-structured lessons in an energetic atmosphere. Diego focuses mainly on clear leadership, very detailed technique, active expression and improvisation through music. In their

lessons, Judita and Diego emphasise teaching sound technique and creating a framework in which couples can find improvisation and swing in the music: a task that challenges both men and women equally.

Judita speaks German in class. Diego teaches mainly in English and speaks German.
